When making an online purchase a small padlock symbol will appear on your screen in front of the URL in the payment section of the checkout. This indicates that the SSL security system is operating throughout your transaction. You can place an order online, over the phone or with the help of our friendly staff in any Number One Shoes, Hannahs, Superstore or Hush Puppies store.

Once you’ve completed your order online, you’ll receive an order confirmation email. If you don’t receive an order confirmation email within 24 hours of ordering, we suggest you check your email spam filter and junk folder in case our email has been directed there.
If this isn’t the case, then we may have an incorrect email address for you. Please contact us and we’ll look into this for you. -
Once an order is placed we're unable to make any changes to it including changing item colours and sizes, applying a discount code or removing items from your order. We can cancel your order if it hasn't been dispatched so that you can place a new order with the correct details.
If your incorrectly placed order has already been dispatched you will be able to return it for a full refund or exchange it for the correct items/size.
If your order hasn't been dispatched we may be able to change the delivery address. Please note that we can't change orders from a Click & Collect order to a delivery order or vice versa.
If your order has already been dispatched you will be able to request a redirect to the correct address via NZ Post. To request a redirect you need to have a New Zealand Post account. You will be charged for your purchase as soon as you click the PLACE ORDER button in the checkout. An order confirmation will be sent via email to confirm your order and payment.
Please be aware we take fraud seriously. All credit card and debit card holders are subject to validation and authorisation by us and the card issuer.
A GST tax invoice will be sent to you via email once your order is complete. This will include all items successfully dispatched to you as part of the order. If for any reason we are unable to fulfill your order in full, you will be refunded back to your original payment method for any items you have not received.
For credit or debit cards it may take up to 5 working days for the refund to appear back in your account depending on bank processing times.
If your order was placed within one of our stores your refund will be processed back to store credit. You will need to visit one of our stores who will be able to refund the store credit back to you in person or you may use this credit towards another purchase. -
Sorry, we are not able to accept cheques as a method of payment in store or online.

Unfortunately, we do not offer traditional layby, however, we're confident you'll be happy using Laybuy.com or Afterpay to make your in store or online purchase.
Laybuy and Afterpay allow you to receive your goods straight away while paying off your purchase in weekly instalments. There is no interest or fees.

No. Unfortunately we can’t amend orders after they have been placed. If you forget to apply your discount code you will either have to request to cancel your order and place it again or you will need to wait and use your discount code on your next order.

New Zealand Delivery Orders: We charge a non-refundable delivery fee of $9.95 for orders under $100 and offer free shipping on orders over $100.
Australian Delivery Orders: We charge a non-refundable delivery fee of $20.00 for orders under $150 and offer free shipping on orders over $150.

New Zealand Collect In Store (1-3 Days) Orders: If stock is not in your chosen store, we will ship your shoes to your chosen store (1-3 business days). We charge a non-refundable delivery fee of $9.95 or is FREE on orders over $100.

We only ship to New Zealand and Australian addresses. Unfortunately we are unable to ship to other countries.
Please note that the following brands can't be shipped to Australia: Hush Puppies, Clarks, Keds, Steve Madden, Skechers, Julius Marlow, Lynx, New Balance , Capezio, Capezio Comfort, Head Over Heels, Soprano and Sopranos Wide Fit.

All orders are sent by NZ Posts courier service. NZ Post will deliver during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

No signatures are not required but we do highly recommend that someone be at the delivery address to accept the parcel to ensure safe delivery.

Most orders can be expected to take 1-3 business days to process and ship. This is counted from the first business day following the day that you placed your order. Rural addresses may take longer so allow for 3-5 business days.
Processing: Orders usually take 1-2 business days to process before it's shipped.
Shipping: NZ Post will then deliver orders in 1-3 business days after shipment. Rural addresses can add 1-3 days to the delivery time.

You can return any Click & Collect product for an exchange or refund within 60 days of collecting the order, providing all the terms and conditions of our returns policy have been met. You can return product to any Number One Shoes, Hannahs or Hush Puppies store, or by Courier back to the website distribution centre to process a refund or exchange.

Click & Collect orders are held in-store for 14 days.
If you can't collect your order for any reason, please phone Customer Care on 0800 426 624 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) to let them know. If you placed your order online and you haven't collected within 14 days of receiving your collection email then we will return the goods back to our stock and refund the money back to the original method of payment.
If your Click and Collect order was an in store order then you will need to return to a store so that we can issue you your refund. While we wait for you to visit in store, we will return the order to store credit which you can use when you next visit us in store or the store can refund your credit back to your original payment type. -
Yes you can. If you decide to return your Laybuy or Afterpay purchase for an exchange or refund you will be able to return it to a Number One Shoes, Hannahs or Hush Puppies store or Courier it back to the webstore distribution centre to process the refund or exchange.

You can return product to any Number One Shoes, Hannahs or Hush Puppies store, providing all the terms and conditions of our returns policy have been met.
We do not guarantee the availability of sizes or styles at our retail stores. Therefore if the size or style is not available in-store but is available online, you may be offered a store refund and invited to reorder the exchange size.

We want you to be happy with your purchase. We will gladly exchange or refund unworn product in its original condition, within 60 days of the delivery date, accompanied by the original receipt. All refunds will be credited to the original form of payment. The shoe box and other packaging must accompany the product on return. The delivery fee is non-refundable.

We will process your exchange or refund within 10 business days on receipt of your parcel. We do not accept responsibility for items lost in transit while being returned. We recommend you use a Courier service that provides tracking and delivery to the door. Courier costs are non-refundable. However any exchanges will be sent to the customer free of charge.

If you're trying to sign up for a Zip account and get an error message about your email address or mobile phone number already being in use, it means that you already have an account in the system linked to your details.
It may be that you signed up with Zip a while back but don't remember the number or email used. Prior to November 2019, ZIP was known as PartPay, so you could have created a PartPay account which has been automatically converted to a Zip account.
